Things you need:
✄Some trousers, mine are from thrift shop
✄Lace for sides
✄Sewing machine(recommended)
✄Pinheads
So lets get started:
✄At first cut the lace as long as the sides of the trousers.
✄Pin the lace on sides and leave some free space over the top and bottom border of the throusers(lace may move a bit while sewing).
✄Sew the lace on both sides gently taking pinheads away at the same time.
✄Now you have some free space on top and bottom. Turn these parts on the odd side of the trousers and sew them on.
✄And you are ready!✄
