🌴It’s constantly hot. No matter if it’s day or night, always is involved sweat.🌴
🌴Rain showers? It was sunny 5 minutes ago, but well..🌴
🌴Always getting tanned, even while taking a 7 minutes ride from work to lunch with bycycle.🌴


🌴A burning wind. Well that may also happen on a hot day.🌴
🌴Every day is a good beach day.🌴


TRAFFIC

🌴CRAZY CRAZY CRAZY🌴
🌴Biggest engine has power, literally. So with bycycle you have no power. JUST TRY TO SURVIVE!🌴



🌴Looking behind before starting a ride.. No needed, just drive and the ones that are coming from behind must see you.🌴
🌴Traffic lights -  well we have these and sometimes they even help, but sometimes it doesen’t matter if it’s a green or red light, people drive anyways in different directions.🌴
🌴It’s pretty normal that people ride in opposite direction in curves. Quick reactions help you out in this situation.🌴
🌴Taxi drive -  well, on the first ride i held my hands on eyes because i thought that we are going to crush some moped drivers. Even after two months i was still surprised how drivers get along without accidents. They have skill!🌴



🌴Try to avoid rushhours, otherwise you will be drowned between motorbikes.🌴
🌴Driving with 4 people on motorbike - it’s okay.🌴
🌴Using motorbike as loading truck - it’s also okay. You can use your motorbike to ride animals, such as pigs or ducks or maybe even furniture. Everything is allowed if you can somehow connect them on your motorbike.🌴
🌴Use your hands to let the ones behind know where are you going.🌴
🌴It’s pretty usual to see driving motorbike-shops-coffees. They have loud speakers on bike to let people know what they are selling while driving around town. I was really suprised that the drivers himself were very calm even though the speaker screams behind you all day.🌴

CLOTHING

🌴Basically three options for locals. Traditional likely working clothes, colorful pjamas as everyday outfits or sweatsuits with big logos, such as CHANEL or BURBERRY.🌴
🌴Expencive brand logos are used everywhere. So it’s easy to find Chanel earrings and other expencive brand pijamas.🌴
🌴Two options for a tourist - go to market and try to pull on XS-S clothes, because there are no bigger sizes there or(Vietnamese are really small, even I with 1,65 cm felt long in the first time of my life), go to a taylor shop and let yourself made a new outfit. There are tons of these tayloring shops.🌴


🌴Quite same options for shoes.🌴
🌴For accessories, well, you can find almost every high end brand bags and other accessories from there. Wanted a Chanel Boy bag with a good price? Well go and get it (but check the quality first).🌴

PEOPLE

🌴Happy is the main word that i would use to describe them. Even though most of them don’t live in the best conditions, there’s still almost always smile on the face. It could be just because i was a tourist and they fake-smiled to me but what the hell..🌴


🌴A lot of fake smile is also common. 🌴
🌴Helpful - the main reason why i believe this is because we had a little situation on streets and the locals helped us to run from police… Haha, it seems that it’s forbidden to sell your art on streets.🌴
🌴Careful - by this i mean they don’t run into new trends very quickly. They take time with everything.🌴

WORK
🌴Working days for locals are mostly from about 7am to 9pm, 6-7 times a week. They only have a few day off in a month. It’s crazyyyy!🌴
