ICELAND - REYKJAVIK - FIRST SNAPS AND TIPS

20:32

Hellooo! I am back. It has been a hectic week. In Estonia we had ERKI Fashion show applicaions deadline so it means work-work-allnighters-work kind of days just after arriving form Iceland. But the first photos from trip are finally here.

So where to begin.. The first, arriving day, we spent on Reykjavik. A small and a sweet city. Right next to sea and mountains. Few cars and people. Did you know that on Iceland all together lives about 323 000 people? So it's even less than in Estonian capital Tallinn, although we are a lot smaller country by area. But I can't complain. It means no rush hours and loads of people everywhere. Since we went on low-season the tourist attraction places weren't also super crowded. But about the nature will talk on next posts more.

What about more? Even though my friend told me about the high prices in Iceland, I didn't believe that they were this high. We were kind of shocked about it because in a grocery store you couldn't find anything under an euro(converted from Iceland kronas). For an example, 300g cheese for about 13€, bread 3€ and so on. Which is quite understandable, since they bring most of the stuff in from other countries, and it's not so near to bring. The fuel price is around 2€. Even though it's also more expencive I highly reccommend renting a car. Atleast for us it as more important to see around rather than have expencive dinners and fancy coffee dates. These I keep for more cheaper locations.

That's about it for today.
Cya on next post,
xx
